Itinerary No.1: the Gorges du Verdon, an absolute must-see!

The best way to discover the Gorges du Verdon! Let’s go for a great electric boat ride towards the Grand Canyon and its splendid landscapes.

Starting from the Margaridon beach in Salles-sur-Verdon, you begin your boat excursion with a 45-minute crossing of the lake. The discovery of the Sainte-Croix Lake unfolds peacefully as you glide along the water. You’ll have time to appreciate the peacefulness of its clear waters and admire the spectacular view of the cliffs.

Once at the Galetas bridge, let the spectacle begins! You discover the turquoise waters and sail along the limestone cliffs of the canyon. You pass by the Saint-Maurin waterfall, which is absolutely gorgeous at the beginning of the season when the flow is at its highest. You navigate up the Verdon for 1.5 km, for about 45 minutes until you reach the start of the currents. To complete your boat circuit, you simply have to turn around and return to the Surf Center.

Our advice: start your trip in the morning to enjoy more quietness, as tourist traffic is heavier in the afternoon.
